We are looking for a warm, caring babysitter for our 4 year old daughter. She attends a Montessori school and we live in Glen Rock, NJ.

The position is primarily for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00–7:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional additional days. We would also really appreciate help with occasional date nights (twice a Month), sick days when she needs to stay home, and school holidays or closures, if you are available.

A few important details about our family and the role:

Our daughter is bright, curious, and playful, and we’d love someone who enjoys engaging her in age-appropriate, educational, and fun activities.

We have a small dog named Pippi who is very friendly and sweet (a bit shy and skittish at first), so you’ll need to be comfortable with pets. We'd like for our daughter to start walking Pippi (with caregiver) so that would an additional requirement.

A car is required for occasional outings or school-related needs.

Spanish fluency is a must. She attends an immersion school where she only speaks Spanish during the day. Our Spanish isn't great and we’d like our daughter to continue to grow her language skills.

Responsibilities include: caring for our daughter, planning simple fun and educational activities, preparing snacks/dinner, outings, walking the dog/helping her care for the dog, and keeping her environment safe and tidy. Date nights would include bath and bedtime routine, etc. as well.

Experience with multiple children is a plus, as is flexibility for the extra days mentioned above.
