We’re looking for a part-time nanny and house helper for our family in Jersey City Heights. We have two easygoing, well-behaved kids — a six year old and a one year old — who follow a set daily routine, making this a smooth, predictable role.

Responsibilities include: caring for both children — feeding, mealtime, bath time, and getting them ready; reading with them and helping with their learning; picking them up from Hamilton Montessori and driving them to activities and parks; preparing simple meals; helping with their laundry and keeping their spaces tidy; and some light housecleaning during downtime.

A valid driver’s license is required, and references are a must. We also have a friendly dog that you’ll need to be comfortable with.

Hours: ideally both morning (seven to nine) and evening (three to six) on weekdays, though evening hours are most important. These hours are set rather than flexible.
