My 3 year old son Trey is the happiest, cutest child in the world. He has a rare genetic mutation called CACNA1A. As a a result, he cannot stand, walk or communicate on his own. When he’s around strangers, he is calm happy and usually laughing. When it’s just him and I, it’s meltdown after meltdown.

I will be doing all the usual stuff: feeding him, changing his diaper, etc. All I need is to be able to leave the room and get some breaks through out the day.

I’ve been studying for a license and it’s been 100% impossible when he’s attached to my hip and usually screaming.
