Hi! In search of a part-time babysitter in our home in Massapequa. Start date is flexible but would ideally like a fall start. This position requires flexibility with varying days & hours as my husband is a police officer & I am a nurse. Our schedules are not on set days & occasionally my husbands hours change. Schedule will be provided at least 3 weeks in advance.

Work week typically ranges from 1-3 days per week (with the occasional availability to work more as over-time opportunities come up). Occasional weekend days are a must. Evening hours 2p-8p. Roughly 12-20 hours per week. The reason for flexibility is due to unforeseen changes in schedule or mandated overtime due to the nature of our jobs.

This position would also require on-call hours as well. On call shifts would range from 5hrs-10hrs. You would be home unless I am called in and need to leave the house. Must be within 5 miles of our Massapequa home. Some weekend call days required. Would ideally like to have the same person for both positions, but open to hiring 2 people.

Light housework a plus- mostly cleaning up after kids. Driving a must.

Would like someone local & familiar with the area especially for in climate weather & last minute needs.
