Seeking a babysitter for two kids, ages preschool and middle school
Hi! I’m looking for a fun, energetic, dependable family assistant for my two kids, one in preschool and one in middle school. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 7:00 PM, and the start date is flexible. You must be comfortable with pets, and having a car is preferred. I’m really looking for someone with personality who can come in, bring some energy to the house, and actually engage with the kids. Someone who is happy to pull out the Legos, play games, cook something with them, get outside, help with homework, or come up with something fun to do instead of everyone disappearing onto a screen. My biggest goal is helping my older child spend less time on the computer and reconnect with real life a little more ? He is pretty independent, but he definitely benefits from reminders, consistency, and someone who can keep him accountable in a positive way. That also includes things like feeding and walking our large dog and spending more time with his younger sister. I’m a single mom with a demanding career, and I’ve been very career-focused over the last few years. I’m at a point where I really want to build a healthier routine for myself and my kids, and I need the right person to help us do that. I’m not expecting someone to magically fix everything overnight. I want someone patient, confident, and understanding who can grow into the role with us and help make our home feel more structured, connected, and fun. Pay is negotiable based on experience, availability, and how much of the family assistant role you are comfortable taking on. There are also additional hours available and this can become a full time position for someone interested in helping with light cleaning, organizing, errands, meal prep, or other household tasks before the kids are home.
