- $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Our daughter is in 5th grade and is imaginative, curious, and on the autism spectrum. She is highly verbal and intelligent, and very sensitive. Our son is in kindergarten and is energetic and sweet. Both love to make believe, play, and do art.
We are looking for a local babysitter to meet the bus at the bus stop on Wednesdays and either Thursdays or Fridays, and walk the children a couple of blocks to our apartment. Since it is a time sensitive and relatively short after school job, it only makes sense if you live or work nearby. Must be non-smoking and fully engaged with children. Support with homework, help putting away things, help prepare snacks and optional meal prep. Babysitter should talk and play with children, while providing structure.
We live in Inwood, Manhattan. The bus arrives 2:45 and I will be home by 5:45-6:15. We'd strongly prefer someone nearby.
Requirements
- Special needs experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare Snacks/Meals
