  I'm a single mom and Firefighter Paramedic. I live in Bend but work in Madras. I work two day shifts (48hrs straight) every week on a rotating schedule. For example I will work M/Tu then the next week I will work Su/M and then the next Sa/Su, etc. It is a very funky schedule but on the plus side I know my work schedule years in advance. I am trying to find someone to regularly watch and care for my 6y/o daughter while I'm on shift. This would mean two days and two overnights, taking and picking her up from school, meals, etc. We live walking distance from her school (4 blocks away). I have a spare bedroom and bathroom to accommodate the lengthy stay. Definitely a unique situation.
