Experienced After-School Caregiver Needed for Two Young Children in Hilton Head Island Area!
Family is looking for a reliable caregiver for after-school care for two children, ages 3 & 5, in the 29926 area. Care is needed Mon-Fri from 3:30p-5:30p, with flexibility to occasionally work earlier or later if needed or when school is out with advance notice. If interested, hours can be extended during summer. The ideal caregiver is caring, responsible, and patient. The children enjoy playing outside, being read to and reading, arts and crafts, and music. When engaging with the children the caregiver should be creative and develop activities that will encourage children to meet and exceed developmental milestones. The caregiver should ensure the children are safe and use positive reinforcement to encourage their individual growth. Both parents currently work from home in designated offices. It is important during care that the caregiver respects work from home boundaries and limits disruptions throughout the day. If you meet the family's requirements below, they would love to hear from you! (Priority) Responsibilities: Preparing an afterschool snack. Engaging with age-appropriate activities. Indoor and outdoor play. Occasional school pickups. Household Tasks: Picking up after self & children. Unloading & loading the dishwasher. Changing children's sheets 2xs a week. Helping children fold and put away their laundry. Pets: The family has two cats. Caregiver must be comfortable with cats and non-allergic, but no day-to-day responsibilities related to the cats. Qualifications: CPR & First Aid Certified. Has a safe & reliable vehicle. Valid driver's license. Fluent in English. Has at least 2 references. Start Date, Salary, and Benefits: Position starts as soon as possible. Pay is $25-30/hour, depending on experience. Paid mileage for driving on the job. Other benefits may be negotiated for the highly qualified candidate (sick and/or vacation time, etc.)
