Hi there! I’m looking for a warm, dependable, and engaging babysitter for my sweet and active toddler, Andre. This is an occasional position (likely 2–4 times biweekly) for 3–5 hour shifts, typically on weekends. The role would be in our home, mainly to help out while I get things done around the house.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and engage Andre while I clean or run errands nearby
• Change diapers and assist with potty training (gentle reminders to try)
• Play with age-appropriate milestone toys and read books
• Limit screen time (TV is okay in moderation)
• Prepare simple snacks and meals (fruit, chicken nuggets, fries, etc.)
• Keep play area tidy after use

Requirements:
• Must have own transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance (for occasional errands or outings)
• Comfortable with cats (we have 3, but they keep to themselves)
• CPR certified — required if accompanying Andre to the pool (he’s bold and likes to jump in!)
• Comfortable working in a home where my mother (a smoker) lives — her door remains closed, and we use an air filter in the main area

Compensation:
• $16/hr base rate
• $17/hr + gas if transportation is provided
• $19/hr if accompanying Andre to the on-site apartment pool (must be CPR certified)
