My wife and I have a two-year old daughter (who will be 3 in August). We also have 2 cats that take care of themselves. Our previous babysitter recently moved away. We're looking for someone who can watch our daughter for the occasional (monthly) date night or sometimes a weekend event. We could plan a date night for as early as this weekend.
Usually just keep her engaged, along with an evening snack or light meal, she's still in diapers, and someone who can do a nighttime routine and put her to bed. In the past we've paid different rates for active babysitting vs time spent after she's asleep, but willing to negotiate. Often, half the time or more is after she's asleep.
