Daughter is almost 10 and son is almost 12. They have their chores, like to read, listen to stories, and play in their room. They get along well the majority of the time. Sometimes mom or dad will be working from home in the other room.

Just ensuring they are safe and go to bed at an appropriate time. Occasionally might make a meal for them, but typically it will be prepared in advance.
