Wonderful Bothell family seeking part-time caregiver for their 10-year-old and 8-year-old neurodivergent children. Care is needed every other week Monday-Friday for support after school. The children are with Dad for one week and then Mom for one week. In the afternoon, care is needed most weekdays from 2:30pm-5:00pm. The 10-year-old has therapy on Mondays at 2 PM and on Wednesdays early dismissal, so care is needed on those days from 1:50pm-5:00pm.

Afternoon care includes taking them to their after-school activities, providing snacks, and overall supervision. The children will need to be driven to their therapy appointments on Monday and Wednesday, which is about 30 minutes from their home.

The ideal caregiver has experience caring for neurodivergent children, a reliable vehicle, a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license. The family is looking for a caregiver that is willing to complete an Enhanced Background Check and Motor Vehicle Check on Sittercity (free of charge). If the caregiver is interested and available for additional hours, there are opportunities for this with school breaks, when the children are sick, and in the summer. The family is also looking for a backup caregiver when their primary caregiver is unavailable.

The children enjoy building, arts and crafts, and video games. The ideal caregiver will encourage physical activities and outside time! The family is offering 25-30 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The family is also offering reimbursement for gas, and additional benefits will be discussed in more detail.
