We’re looking for a warm and kind babysitter for our very sweet and goofy 18-month-old daughter, starting in August or September. We’d ideally love support from around 9:00am-12:00 p.m. most Fridays, with additional occasional evenings and weekends as well. We’re are seeking someone who is a native or fluent Spanish (or French) speaker to speak primarily in that language with her to support her early language development. The role would include playing together, preparing simple snacks, helping get her down for her nap, and creating a calm, safe, fun, and engaging environment. We are looking for a responsible babysitter to care for our two daughters, Charlotte (5.5) and Rosemary (2). I am a stay at home mom and my husband is works close by in the fire service. Our fabulous sitter is heading back to college and we are looking for someone that can help us out for date nights and to give me a semi-regular break during the day for errands/appointments. The girls are best friends and love playing pretend, crafting, playing outside, dance parties, and basically anything else creative. Times and days are very flexible. We have a cat who mostly hangs out under the bed when guests are here.

About Us: We are a loving LGBTQ+ family seeking a dedicated babysitter for our two neurodivergent children (ages 2 and 4). Our home is a space of acceptance and advocacy, and we are looking for a caregiver who is an active ally and values open, honest communication. The Kids: Both children have developmental disabilities and unique sensory profiles: High Energy: Both are major sensory seekers who love jumping and crashing into things! We need someone comfortable facilitating this "heavy work" safely. 4-Year-Old: He is neurodivergent and has some auditory sensitivities. He can handle some noise, but if things get too loud, he will cover his ears. We need a sitter who recognizes this cue and can immediately help him find a quiet "reset." 2-Year-Old: He is "go-go-go" from the moment he wakes up! He has a high motor drive and requires a sitter who can keep up with his constant movement. What We’re Looking For: Inclusivity: Must be fully supportive of our LGBTQ+ family. Communication: We value radical honesty. We need someone who will tell us if a routine isn’t working or if they need more tools to meet the kids' needs. Observation: Ability to monitor different sensory needs simultaneously (managing the "go-go-go" energy while respecting the 4-year-old’s noise boundaries).
