  We're looking for a babysitter to help with four children aged preschool and elementary. The role starts on August 5th and runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The sitter should be comfortable around pets, as we have a small dog in the home. Daily tasks include supervising playtime and preparing light snacks. We expect the sitter to engage the children in fun and creative activities while maintaining a safe environment. Our boys are energetic and love to play outside. They are creative and have a cupboard of games, crafts, and activities. We also enjoy the occasional movie or PBS kids cartoon.   This posting is for the 2026-2027 school year starting at the end of August 2026. We are looking for morning help 4 days a week, either Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Friday. The times are 6:50 am to 9:10 am. Our current amazing nanny is moving on at the end of this school year to start her own family. We have a 4-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl. They love music, dancing, art, reading, and being goofy. The only pets we have are fish. We would prefer someone with experience in preschool and school-aged children, who does not smoke, and is CPR certified. We are looking for someone kind, patient, a good communicator, and with a good sense of time management. A reliable, responsible, on-time caregiver is essential so we can get to work on time. The role involves helping the kids get ready for school in the morning. This includes some playtime, feeding them breakfast, getting their lunch box packed (we will make their lunch), and getting them ready for the day (picking out clothes, brushing teeth, etc…). We take the 4-year-old will to preschool around 7:30 am, so most of the time care will be just the 8-year-old solo until her bus comes at 9 am.
