I grew up around kids for as long as I could remember. I started helping my mom babysit children at the age of 9. I also started taking care of kids over the weekend at the age of 12. I would help my sisters take care of their kids while they were working, and I was on school break. Taking care of kids brings me so much peace and happiness because I really enjoy being around them. I have babysat children from two weeks old to 15 years old throughout my high school career, up to six at a time (with a wide age range), and I love children! I can also cook, clean, and drive. I have taken some of the children I've worked with to school functions, play dates, and medical appointments. I am big on exercise and making sure children get to play outside, but can also be firm about getting chores/homework done. For two summers I had the opportunity to be a private care giver/companion for two seniors at their home in Tucson. I provided meals, grocery shopping, cleaning of the house, gardening, chair exercises, I worked with medical staff in home, and watched their favorite shows with them. Additionally, I love animals! I have cared for cats, dogs, birds, and fish. I'd be happy to take your companion for walks/runs, training, vet appointments, cleanings, etc. I am comfortable with regular 9-5 hours, but am also flexible with early mornings and/or over nights if needed.
