Ever since age 13 I’ve babysat for several families at a time and also loved it! I think the best part of it all is getting to see these tiny beings change and grow, seeing their personalities come to light. Many might see babysitting as just a necessity for parents to be able to go out and have adult time, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a chance to have fun, to engage a child’s sense of wonder and their sense of self. I like to do activities with them and be outdoors when possible. I’m very respectful of parents’ preferences and like to follow their same rules set for their kids. I know that being a parent can sometimes be challenging... I can be there to help give you a much needed break or to help make daily life a little easier for you. While I have not been blessed to be a mother yet myself, I’ve learned a wide variety of things from each of the families I’ve had the pleasure to know and love. I love to cook, especially for a crowd, and I have some house cleaning experience. I'm more than comfortable with pets as I have a cat at home, even though have a mild cat allergy, though that will not be an issue. I'm fully CPR certified and have basic first aid training. Due to my work, I have plenty of experience helping kids with distance learning, homeschooling, and helping with homework. I have experience working with all age groups.
