Hello! My name is Charlotte and I am a skilled childcare worker with 2 years of full time childcare experience through working 7 summers as a youth sailing instructor. There I taught children ages 5-7 and 8-18 sailing skills by creating an adventurous, educational, and safe learning environment. I have cared for children of all backgrounds, levels of emotional regulation as well as students on the spectrum and have enjoyed my time with them all and have learned much about how to best provide them with education and care. I’ve spent the last 2 summers there as the lead instructor which put me in full responsibility of all the students and staff including any medical paperwork and treatment needed, creating and teaching engaging lesson plans and games, monitoring student interactions and mental health and well as making sure all land and water activities were conducted safely.
