I have been a babysitter on and off for a few family friends. I have also worked at the day care at my temple a few times when I was younger during the holidays. And I have been a camp counselor since I was 16 at a sleep away summer camp. At the camp I have worked with kids of all ages and was responsible for pretty much all the day to day tasks (i.e. waking them up, showering, medication, entertainment/fun, making sure they eat right etc). Also more recently I was a teacher working in Thailand teaching kids English. This experience taught me a lot about working with children because of the huge cultural differences as well as there being a huge language barrier. I have always enjoyed working with kids because of the different and exciting energy they bring with them every day. Because of all my years Read more of working with kids I really feel like I am able to understand them and connect with them very easily. I am energetic, and silly but can also be serious if/when need be and most importantly I am cautious and responsible.
