Hello! I’m glad to have the opportunity to present myself! I graduated as an early childhood teacher and also experienced teaching and taking care of children and teenagers of all ages. I appreciate being around kids, exchanging experiences and sharing. It’s always fun! For me, being a childcare provider makes me feel like I’m making a difference in the kid’s life, adding to them by giving them attention, showing them they deserve to be loved, respected and taken care of. People often give me compliments on how patient I am with kids, and I always answer with “that’s because I respect the kids’ time”. They have their own time, and why hurry them when they’ll have a whole adult life to do that? I enjoy every single part of being with kids, taking them places, listening to their stories, cooking with them, eating, chatting, doing crafts, reading stories… I feel privileged to have those gifts and to have the opportunity to be in a small part of children’s stories.

Hello! My name is Charlotte and I am a skilled childcare worker with 2 years of full time childcare experience through working 7 summers as a youth sailing instructor. There I taught children ages 5-7 and 8-18 sailing skills by creating an adventurous, educational, and safe learning environment.
