Hi -- I’m a mature and experienced male caregiver offering an alternative to the traditional sitter. In my 50s with 2 adult children and 1 grandchild, I bring the reliability of a seasoned adult with the energy and playfulness of a “fun uncle” who keeps kids safe, engaged, and genuinely enjoying their time. Ideally, I'd like to find a family that I can work with long-term... but I'm also available for short-term or immediate needs. I’m patient, dependable, kid-friendly and educated at UCLA, with a 38-year career in I.T. (now semi-retired) and more than 20 years of coaching and mentoring experience. I’ve worked with nearly 750 children (primarily boys ages 5–12, though I enjoy supporting kids of all ages.) Whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, taking the kids on outings or just being a steady, positive presence, I balance fun with responsibility. In the home, we can study, relax or play board games. If we have an outside adventure, it can be to a park, the beach, or to explore museums or other venues to have fun & educational experiences. I believe in clear communication with parents, so that my care follows your expectations and routines, making sure we’re aligned as a team.
