I ran 43 daycares for 16 years on the East Coast and was a nanny both in Maryland and in California after the selling of the daycares. I have also taught swimming, art, and dance to young children. I developed the curriculum for the daycares and trained the teaching staff. I have worked with thousands of children over a long career and still receive Christmas cards for children that are now in high school and college. I have over 2000 hours of Early childhood education and am a member of multiple teaching websites and stay up to date on current changes and teaching methods. I have been certified in CPR and first aid for years and have used it successfully in an emergency situation. I completed a class in CPR and First aid in May 2020 at the College of San Mateo and have been certified for many years. I am up to date on current trends such as Baby-led weening and other new techniques. I maintain a log so that the parents know what is happening with their young children. The log includes food and milk intake, diaper activity, nap length, and any observations that need to be passed on. I also take children to parks and pools or other activities. I am vaccinated and Covid careful. I also have multiple references from my past nanny positions. I have a pre-school and art program that I have developed and use currently. I enjoy working with children and building their confidence using music and art. I like to include active learning exercises that keep the children engaged. Singing is a constant part of my day-to-day interaction with the children I care for. I have 5 large Rubbermaid containers filled with games, art supplies, pre-school lessons and a storyboard with many different stories. All geared to develop confidence and build their learning capabilities. My rate is based not only on the market rate but hours and needs. When you hire me you are getting a professional that also becomes part of the family. I am currently looking for a position that is no less than 20 hours and no more than 40 hours a week. If you would like to hire me but don't have a total of 32 hours I am open to a salary amount that pays at the 32-hour rate when under the needed hours. I request five days of paid sick leave, two weeks of paid vacation the first year. Guaranteed salary based on the minimum hours. If this is something that you agree with I look forward to hearing from you.

JoElla was awesome! She took great care of our 6mo baby girl before she went to daycare. She is very detail-oriented, caring, responsible, and communicative. She helped my daughter stay on the age-appropriate schedule, got her used to bottle feeding, and helped her developmentally through various playtime activities. My daughter used to only take crap naps but with Jo she started taking longer naps! We were amazed. We look forward to working with Jo again in the future!

Maggie has cared for our baby boy for the past year, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her. She is patient, trustworthy, highly organized, and truly easy to work with. From the very beginning, she helped establish a consistent daily routine and thoughtfully incorporated a wide variety of engaging and age-appropriate activities each day. She has also been very flexible and accommodating whenever we needed adjustments to the schedule, which we deeply appreciated. What really sets Maggie apart is how genuinely she enjoys spending time with babies. Her warmth and love for childcare come through in everything she does, and it creates such a nurturing environment. This is something I didn’t fully appreciate until we worked with her, but it makes all the difference. Overall, working with Maggie has been effortless and truly pleasant. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a caring and dependable nanny.

I truly don’t have enough words to express how grateful we are for Mereema. She came into our lives during an incredibly chaotic time—trying to work from home while raising two little ones (4.5 and 2.5) was no easy task, and Mereema quickly became my right hand girl. She is reliable, trustworthy, fun, and incredibly grounded. From the beginning, she stepped in with confidence and care, and made everything feel more manageable. She brought structure to our days and gave me the space to breathe and focus on work, knowing my kids were in the best hands. My son is strong-willed and definitely likes to test boundaries, and while that can be overwhelming for some, it never fazed Mereema. She handled every challenge with so much patience and grace. She knew exactly how to set loving boundaries, stay calm during outbursts, and most importantly—make him feel safe and understood. Mereema wasn’t just a nanny—she became a trusted part of our family. She made such a positive impact on our home, and we miss her dearly. If you’re lucky enough to have the chance to work with her, take it. You won’t regret it. Highly, highly recommend!

Sheri did a one-day trial with us to care for our 5-month-old baby. She was very responsible in changing diapers, gently helping him fall asleep, and engaging with him during his awake time. Our baby was very comfortable with her and clearly enjoyed her company. Although our family is currently going through a major transition and we are unfortunately unable to move forward with hiring her, we highly recommend Sheri for any childcare position.

I have two younger children ages 4 and 6 and she has been fantastic. She has a lot of life experience with children and brings a very calm and confident approach to handling the children. With very little direction she quickly jumped into the flow of our morning routine and helps get the children up, fed, dress and drives them to school. She does multiple drop offs and I am very grateful that she is a very experienced driver. It was always a concern of mine that I would need to work with someone who could handle longer drives to multiple schools. I enjoy chatting with Teresa and am very thankful to be working with her.

Hello! My name is Adriana, and I would love the opportunity to care for your little ones. I am a former preschool teacher with over 20 years of experience caring for children, from newborns to middle school age. Throughout my career as both a nanny and babysitter, I have focused on providing much more than supervision. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive through play, exploration, and age-appropriate activities. I also have extensive experience caring for children with special needs. I hold a Certificate of Specialization in Special Needs Education and have worked with children of diverse abilities, allowing me to tailor my care to each child’s unique needs. As a mother of two wonderful adult children, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your family. Raising my own children has given me firsthand appreciation for the value of patience, consistency, and nurturing care. I am a native Spanish speaker, CPR certified, have a clean driving record, and am registered with TrustLine for an added level of security and peace of mind. I specialize exclusively in childcare and early childhood development. I do not provide housekeeping or cooking services, and I am unavailable to care for children who are ill. If you’re looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping children flourish, I would be honored to be part of your family’s support system. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones!

Adriana has been our night nanny since the very day we brought our son home and she has been a treasure to my family. She is professional, reliable and knowledgeable, and always keeps a clean and organized environment. She stays awake the whole night and checks on baby immediately when he gets fussy or uncomfortable. She handles baby with comfort and confidence and you can tell right away that she has extensive experience with what she is doing. For example her technique of dealing with gassy stomach works like a charm that we almost never have to use the gas drop whenever she is around. As a thoughtful bonus, she even folds our family’s laundry, which has been such a wonderful help during the newborn stage. I appreciate her dedication and genuine love and care to my family since the day she walked through our door. We trust Adriana completely and wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for an exceptional night nanny.

Aggie was wonderful with our kids age 3 and 5. She managed to get them to learn letters in a very playful manner. Our kids loved her! She paid them a lot of attention, and has a great way to not just leave them on the side but interact with them. This is really quite amazing.
