I am 25 years old and currently working a part-time, work from home, forms building position and looking to supplement my income post-grad as I prepare to begin my teaching career next fall. I am originally from the Bay Area, California where I completed my K-12 education. After high school graduation I followed my long-found passion for education up North to California State University, Chico where I obtained by Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Child Development. I have since moved South in search of the ocean and in pursuit of a Master's degree in Education and Multiple Subject teaching credential from Pepperdine GSEP. Excitedly, I completed my program in August! Unfortunately, post-hiring season. Although I am looking forward to becoming an elementary school teacher soon enough, I am most focused on using my education in my daily life- however that may be for now. I have over 10 years of professional childcare experience working within theater facilities, preschools, daycare programs, after school/summer camps. My most recent experience with children was over 600 hours of student teaching in a Kindergarten classroom within IUSD. I also have several experiences working as a full-time private nanny for an individual baby/toddler. For these positions I was tasked with supervising and entertaining, feeding and changing, taking the child to the park or music class, nap time and bath time, light laundry/dishes/housework and so on.
