Because I do turn down other work and also rely on the anticipated income earned from UrbanSitter jobs booked more than a week in advance, I typically request payment for 50% of the total hours for the cancelled booking (unless I am able to find another job to replace the cancelled job).

I have about 27 yrs of experience. I just love, love, love, babies and children, and have worked with all ages, from newborns to teenagers! I have 15 units of Child Development. I have worked at a daycare and for LA and Pasadena Unified School Districts and because of this, I consider myself an infant and toddler teacher because I gained a lot of experience as one. I have a lot of fun and exciting age-appropriate learning activities that the children enjoy! I know and teach some baby signs and Spanish to the children that I work with.
