Hello! I’m glad to have the opportunity to present myself! I graduated as an early childhood teacher and also experienced teaching and taking care of children and teenagers of all ages. I appreciate being around kids, exchanging experiences and sharing. It’s always fun! For me, being a childcare provider makes me feel like I’m making a difference in the kid’s life, adding to them by giving them attention, showing them they deserve to be loved, respected and taken care of. People often give me compliments on how patient I am with kids, and I always answer with “that’s because I respect the kids’ time”. They have their own time, and why hurry them when they’ll have a whole adult life to do that? I enjoy every single part of being with kids, taking them places, listening to their stories, cooking with them, eating, chatting, doing crafts, reading stories… I feel privileged to have those gifts and to have the opportunity to be in a small part of children’s stories.

I have a background in theater so I love being silly with children and helping to nurture their creative side! I also love being active outdoors and playing sports with the kids if that's what they're interested in. I'm a very open and easy-going person so I tend to connect with kids quickly. I have experience looking after children of all ages and I absolutely love making them laugh and have fun! I also have experience dealing with behavioral problems and I am more than capable of keeping them on a strict schedule if you like. I really enjoy teaching and I would absolutely tutor your kids if they need help with homework or just with classes in general. I have about 27 yrs of experience. I just love, love, love, babies and children, and have worked with all ages, from newborns to teenagers! I have 15 units of Child Development. I have worked at a daycare and for LA and Pasadena Unified School Districts and because of this, I consider myself an infant and toddler teacher because I gained a lot of experience as one.
