I started babysitting when I was 14 years old - this job quickly turned into a summer nanny position throughout high school and summers home from college. In college I worked at a children's development center while studying to become a teacher. I graduated from college in 2011, substitute taught for all grades for a year, did student teaching in a 7th grade class room, and since then I have been teaching 9th grade biology. I absolutely love being around kids which is why I became a teacher. While the majority of my work is with adolescents, I feel comfortable caring for infants and older!
