I graduated with a Psychology degree in summer of 2019 and formerly employed as a Mental Health Counselor at an at-risk youth residential center. I have a dog of my own named Malo, who is my best friend. During my spare time, I do yoga, see live music, go on hikes, and play with my dog. I am an aunt of three amazing nephews and two beautiful nieces. Back home, I lived with my sister and her husband and took care of their two girls ( at the time were 9 months old and 2 and a half years old) Monday - Friday and some weekend nights. I have experience babysitting kids from the age of 7-16, along with kids on the Spectrum and administering oral medication. I am QMAP'd and have my CPR certification. I love kids and if they like sports, nature or just playing outdoors, that's a plus because I love the outdoors! I am experienced in changing diapers -- yes, even blow outs, preparing meals for the day and/or school, driving little ones to school/park/errands, changing clothes, reminding to clean up after themselves, potty training, limiting screen time and mentally and physically exercising during play time! With that being said, I will take care of your kids the same way I take care of myself -- with love and patience. For the last three years, I was a Mental Health Counselor as listed above for at-risk youth; I have a passion to work with kids! I am seeking occasional babysitting gigs when parents needs a break or want a lovely date night. Currently, I am getting my masters in clinical psychology and decided to take a break from the mental health field to focus on school; therefore, my schedule is pretty much completely open!
