I've recently spent a lot of time with and babysitting for my 7 grandchildren who range in age from 1 to 12 years old. I was the primary caregiver for my granddaughter since birth until recently when she turned 5. I also served in the infant nursery at our church for several years (newborn-2 years), I am a Colorado native. I would love the opportunity to care for your child. I graduated with a Psychology degree in summer of 2019 and formerly employed as a Mental Health Counselor at an at-risk youth residential center. I have a dog of my own named Malo, who is my best friend. During my spare time, I do yoga, see live music, go on hikes, and play with my dog. I am an aunt of three amazing nephews and two beautiful nieces. Back home, I lived with my sister and her husband and took care of their two girls ( at the time were 9 months old and 2 and a half years old) Monday - Friday and some weekend nights. I have experience babysitting kids from the age of 7-16, along with kids on the Spectrum and administering oral medication. I am QMAP'd and have my CPR certification. I love kids and if they like sports, nature or just playing outdoors, that's a plus because I love the outdoors! I am experienced in changing diapers -- yes, even blow outs, preparing meals for the day and/or school, driving little ones to school/park/errands, changing clothes, reminding to clean up after themselves, potty training, limiting screen time and mentally and physically exercising during play time! With that being said, I will take care of your kids the same way I take care of myself -- with love and patience. For the last three years, I was a Mental Health Counselor as listed above for at-risk youth; I have a passion to work with kids! I am seeking occasional babysitting gigs when parents needs a break or want a lovely date night. Currently, I am getting my masters in clinical psychology and decided to take a break from the mental health field to focus on school; therefore, my schedule is pretty much completely open! Hello! Little about me, I’m originally from Tx, I grew up in Colorado and move out here about 10yrs ago. I originally move back to Colorado after high school with my boyfriend. I then become a dental Assistant for pediatrics, and purse other specialists in the dental field. I’ve always looked after my little cousins, since they were born and care for them full time as they were growing up, and are now pre-teens! I also have a younger sister! I really enjoyed taking care of others so I pursued it and became a full time nanny. I’ve been with my nanny family for three years and I’ve loved every second of it! unfortunately they’re getting older so I’m looking into joining a new family. With my role as a nanny I enjoy being the most helpful as possible, with the kids and the family!
