I've been babysitting on and off for about 10 years now, working with several families with children of all ages. I am an older sister so I have been looking after kids for a long time, and enjoy it as it reminds me of my own little siblings! Professionally, however, I started babysitting around my neighborhood in high school and loved it. My first professional job taking care of kids was for Life Time fitness in their Kids Academy (where I had my first training in first aid), and I was assigned daily to various age groups from infants to 11 year olds. For the past two summers I have worked at the YMCA day camp (for which I gained first aid training again) as a counselor, and as a nature camp counselor.
