Hi, my name is Alyssa and I am so excited to meet you! I’m currently a sophomore at Del Technical Community College, pursuing an Early Childhood Education degree. My experience with babysitting/nannying as of right now I am working with a family and taking care of their son but I started when I was in the 5th and 6th grade when my aunt was running an at-home daycare and I used to help her when I got out of school to entertain the kids and watch over them. When I got into middle school I started to watch my three cousins I still do to this day. When COVID hit and we had to do school online my cousin stayed with me and my mom for a month or two and I was responsible for helping her with her homework and waking her up on time so she could get on Zoom. I also used to help my cousin watch a family friend of hers newborn baby and their young son. Then I occasionally watch my neighbor's younger daughter when she comes over and plays on the weekend or sometimes when she gets off the bus. As of right now I do have a 6-year-old boy I watch we go outside explore, pretend play using his imagination do fun activities, craft things, and watch kid-friendly shows and movies.
