After receiving my RN in 1991 I worked in various aspects of nursing. Since I retired I have been sitting with a girl for the past 3 years, she is now age 9. I picked her up from school and we would do homework, chores and crafts together. I work for this family on an as needed basis at present. I am looking for a similar part time permanent job at this time.

I believe children are the most precious thing and should be treated as such. My nieces and nephews are my world. I started watching other kids when I was 6 with supervision and without supervision when I was 14. I have cared for children from newborn-12yrs., and from 1 child up to 5 children at a time. I have cared for children with a veriety of different diagnosis such as autism, adha, depression, bipolar, and oppositional defiance disorder. I am young at heart. I love playing games, drawing, arts and crafts, playing with toys, teaching, reading and so much more. I like getting outside and playing games, tag, hide and seek, snow angels, snow ball fights, water gun fights, baseball, soccar, other sports, anything we can think of to do. You will get more than just a presence and safety with me. You will also get a happy and learning child.

My experience with babysitting/nannying as of right now I am working with a family and taking care of their son but I started when I was in the 5th and 6th grade when my aunt was running a at home daycare and I used to help her when I got out of school to entertain the kids and watch over them. When I got into middle school I started to watch my three cousins I still do until this day. When COVID hit and we had to do school online my cousin stayed with me and my mom for a month or two and i was responsible for helping her with her homework and waking her up on time so she could get on zoom.I used to also help my cousin watch a family friend of hers newborn baby and their young son. Then I occasionally watch my neighbor younger daughter when she comes over and plays on the weekend or sometimes when she get off the bus.
