I think it's so neat to be with children and to partake in the things they like, see what they can do and I oftentimes bring a bag of goodies, because new toys or games interest them. I'm 57 and have 5 grandchildren, to my delight ! I babysat for many years, with Nanny Sitting Service in the Delaware beach area. It's nice to watch peoples' little ones, so they can have a date night or get what they need done. I work with children at church and have mentored in elementary school. I have certification as a nursing aid American Heart Assoc. Basic life Support (CPR&AED) certification.

I am a retired project manager looking for part time work and started searching nanny/sitter jobs after several friends and family suggested I look into this, mentioning how well my children were raised.

I am a married empty nester with 3 grown daughters and six granddaughters.  I live in Lewes, Delaware and am a certified substitute teacher with completed criminal background check. My latest experience has been with infants and toddlers. I have sat for a family for over seven years. When I began they had one daughter a year old. A year later their precious little boy was born. He is now nine years old and I have been caring for him since he was less than a month old 4 times a week.  Since he is in school now, I am looking to become a "member" of another family for years to come. I currently sit for two little boys who are four and two once a week and have done so for nearly two years I absolutely love children of all ages and am capable of bathing , changing diapers, bottle feeding, swaddling  reading, taking on walks, doing children's laundry, library,movies or whatever else  their age dictates. I can play indoor and outdoor games, read if they are old enough. No matter what age they are, I enjoy being outside, playing or walking with  their strollers or wagons. I will abide and enforce any rules you have regarding snacks, television, etc. All of these families will be happy to provide references on my behalf.

I’m a 52 year old Mother of 7. I worked in a daycare for two years, then was a live in Nanny for a year. Then I went to Nursing school to get my RN in Nursing. I worked in a hospital for three years. After that I quit to have my family, I have 7 children I have been a stay at home Mom for 26 years, my children are ages 26-13. I can work every day except for Wednesday’s , I’m currently homeschooling two children on Wednesdays while their Mom works. I absolutely love babies and would really enjoy caring for an infant. After receiving my RN in 1991 I worked in various aspects of nursing. Since I retired I have been sitting with a girl for the past 3 years, she is now age 9. I picked her up from school and we would do homework, chores and crafts together. I work for this family on an as needed basis at present. I am looking for a similar part time permanent job at this time.
