I was basically the family babysitter, so looking after kids just became second nature to me. Since then, I’ve worked with families who had babies, toddlers, and even teenagers, and I’ve done everything from full-time nannying to helping out last minute. I always loved working with kids. I would babysit 2 year olds when I was younger and loved it. My first job I worked at We Rock The Spectrum in Bradenton Fl. It is an inclusive kids indoor play gym for ages 1-12. I volunteered there at first, then started working there as a camp counselor during the summer, then started floor staff, the front desk, etc. I was one on one with different kids that were on the spectrum. My second job was a teacher at a daycare called Oceanside Learning Academy in Palmetto Fl. I was the teacher for mainly the twos, threes, and fours, but I have been in every room to help out with the different ages. Both jobs entails changing diapers, giving them snacks/ lunch, creating fun activities, teach, play alongside them, and have fun. I have reliable transportation, and I am in college so please keep that in mind. I do have a flexible schedule so l'm sure we can make it work.
