Alysia C.
- 2 years paid experience
- 11 miles

Hi everyone! My name is Alysia, and I'm looking to start babysitting as a side gig while gaining valuable childcare experience. While this is new for me in a professional setting, I've babysat for family, friends, and neighbors, and I have people who can vouch for me if needed. I'm 21, have an Associate's in Arts, and plan to continue my education by earning my Bachelor's in Clinical Psychology at UCF. I'm also working toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and I'm CPR, First Aid, and AED certified through the American Red Cross. Babysitting is a great way for me to build experience for my future career and do something I truly enjoy. I'm responsible, caring, and easy to communicate with. I'm available for date nights, weekends, part-time care, or other flexible arrangements. My starting rate is $14/hr, but I'm happy to discuss depending on your needs. Feel free to message me. Thank you for supporting someone new in this field!

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am a 20 year old student at UCF majoring in Nursing with a minor in Health Science !! I have worked as a babysitter with kids between 9 months - 11 years of age for about 3 years. I started babysitting when I was 15 and babysat my cousin who was around 6 months old. After one Summer of babysitting her for 5 days a week from 7 am - 5 pm, I fell in love with watching and caring for her, and it opened my eyes to the idea of becoming a babysitter. I used to work as a party event monitor for a bounce house company and at one of the events they were hosting I was the monitor. It was for a subdivision near the east side and my job was to make sure that the younger kids were not being trampled by the older kids that would pass by in the neighborhood. There was a little girl who was 2 years old and the bounce house was very high so she asked me to get in with her; I said yes of course and then got tricked into going several times with her throughout the obstacle course ;). Around the 5th time, her mother came up to me and asked me if I babysat because she saw the way that I interacted with the kids and could tell that I enjoyed it. From that experience, I was able to babysit her 3 and 11 year old daughters. I do have a car and I am certified in CPR and First Aid. My focus is on building trust with your child to be able to create a space that is open and fun. I enjoy making home-cooked meals, playing board games, listening to music, and karaoke, and taking drives to the ice cream shop and park. I am attentive and will work hard to make sure that the time your child and I will spend together will be colorful and entertaining. I look forward to meeting you and your family !! <3

Hi! I’m Lina. I was born and raised in Cartagena, Colombia. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a concentration in English. I taught English as a second language to little kids for 5 years in bilingual schools in Colombia. One of my favorite parts of working with kids is discovering their unique personalities and talents. In addition, I received training in Positive Discipline which helps young children to learn the importance of belonging and social-emotional skills. Now, I’m living in the States. I’m a creative, responsible, and dedicated person. I love traveling and learning about different cultures. I also enjoy playing board games and outdoor activities . I take my responsibility to you and yours very seriously, always mindful and with respect. My last nanny experience was with an 8-month baby girl and a 3-year-old boy. We used the app Kinedu on a daily basis. This app allowed me to implement activities that support the kid’s milestones accordingly. Currently only available on weekends.

Hi, My name is Nydia, I’m a 40 years old, college educated, experienced sitter, CPR and first aid certified. I started my childcare journey, as many of us do, by taking care of children in my neighborhood during date nights. I also helped them with homework and even tagged along as an extra set of hands during weekend trips. One of these families became a huge part of my life. A blended family, they had 6 kids between them, ages ranging from 1 to 9 years old. Needless to say it was hectic, never a dull moment and I enjoyed every minute of it. The oldest girl recently graduated college(How time flies!). I still keep in touch with them and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity they gave me to become part of their family. The experience I had with them confirmed that childcare was something I wanted to do long term. I am very active with the children I take care of. Whether it be through games, storytelling, crafts, sports... I ensure the activities we share encourage their imagination and serve as a tool in their development while they also enjoy themselves. I find that working with children brings out the best in me and makes my life a lot more fulfilling. I strive to be as big of a positive influence to them as they are to me. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you, Nydia
