Hello! I’m Jhasha Presilis, a dedicated child development specialist with over a decade of experience nurturing young minds in Central Florida. As a former Montessori Director who thrived under the visionary leadership of Dr. Meredith McCurdy at Brilliant Minds Montessori in Sanford, I bring a refined, Montessori-inspired approach to every family I serve, focusing on independence, curiosity, and joyful learning. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing a child’s “aha!” moment, whether mastering a new skill, sharing a laugh during a story, or exploring the world through hands-on play. I cherish creating those magical, trust-filled connections that make children feel secure and excited to grow, while giving parents the peace of mind they deserve. For nearly seven years at Brilliant Minds, I advanced from Lead Teacher to Aftercare Manager and ultimately Director, overseeing operations, mentoring staff, and partnering closely with families to maintain enrollment and a welcoming environment. Today, as Read more a self-employed specialist since 2014, I provide personalized childcare, tutoring, and enrichment for ages 0 to 10, including STEM activities, homework support, and developmental milestones. I have also led teams in youth programs at the YMCA and supervised commercial services, honing my skills in organization and communication. I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA), Florida Director Credential with VPK endorsement, Operations Support and Services certification, and CPR/First Aid. I obtained a Bachelor’s in Business and Organizational Leadership, with an Associate of Arts in Social Services earned on the President’s List. I am proficient in time management, leadership, parent communication, and Microsoft tools to keep everything seamless.
