Hi! My name is Ann and I love working with children. I am a Private Kindergarten/1st Grade Teacher and I also have had extensive experience working with 4 year olds. I was a preschool VPK teacher for 2 years and before that worked with all different age groups. I have experience working with ages 1yr-12yr. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have my Child Development Associate (CDA) through the Council For Professional Recognition. I have completed many other courses through the Department of Children and Families and gained an Emergent Literacy Micro Credential University of Florida. I enjoy creating quality bonds with people and helping children grow. My philosophy when it comes to children is that they may be little, but they people. And like all people in this world, if they are given a voice and a chance to share theirs, they will flourish! I pride myself in creating a safe, comfortable environment where children know they can be heard and reach out for whatever reason.

My name is Darcy and I'm a wife, mom and Nana of 11 beautiful grandbabies with 1 more on the way this September. I moved from Wisconsin to Florida 2 years ago and I'm loving every minute of it. I would love to open up my home again to families in need of trustworthy sitters. I absolutely love working with kids and being apart of watching them learn, grow and become their own little person with their own personalities. Kids are the heart and soul of my being. I enjoy teaching letters, numbers, shapes, colors, any educational learning within my means and helping them learn to love animals, outdoors and nature. I love taking them on walks, to the park and i have a little splash pad with umbrella for your little ones to play in. And course sunscreen, and saftey is my number 1 priority. I used to have my own Day Care center out of my home back in Wisconsin, and I loved it for the 8 years I had it. I treat every child as if they are my own precious grandbaby. I always encourage parents to talk with me about my experiences and put them at ease. I know exactly how nerve-wracking finding someone you can trust with your precious little ones can be. I myself had to do that with my own kids. I know exactly how scary this process is. And i know what it means to be able to trust that your child/ren are being cared for like you want them cared for by you. I always do photo updates and text updates daily and I also do daily notes writing down what we do daily. I've babysat all of my grandbabies on top of when i had my day care and it's the most rewarding job I can ever have. I was/am watching an amazing 5 yr old who is on the top end of the spectrum. And he is such a sweet, loving, happy little boy. And I enjoy watching him continue to learn and grow. He is now back in school, but I still have him every Saturday. I encourage you to ask questions about myself, family, kids and grandbabies. Your little ones will feel NOTHING but love and patience in my care. I am CPR/FIRST AID/BLS Certified and will continue with those certifications yearly. I feel it's very important to have these certifications, and again help put you and your family at ease. I hope I'm someone who grabs your attention and that I fit exactly who you're looking forward. I look forward to speaking with you. ❤️

Hi, my name is Marsha. I am 64 years young with plenty of energy and I think I may be a wonderful person to care for your family, while you are working. I know how nerve-racking it can be to go to work, leaving your precious child to a stranger to care for. Let me reassure you that a part of my job is to make you comfortable enough with me to allow you to focus on your jobs while at work. I have TONS of experience caring for newborns. I have raised 3 successful adult children of my own. I have 3 grandchildren whom I adore, and I love children. I am currently a Guardian ad Litem Volunteer Advocate in the 20th Circuit Court and volunteer for ANA’s Friends, which is the foundation that supports the Guardian ad Litem Program. A Guardian ad Litem is court ordered to care for foster children and look out for the best interests of a foster child. I am mandated by the court to visit these children at least once a month, but normally see them twice a month and every 90 days I write a report for the court giving my opinion of how each child is doing and what if anything, they need. This also entails having a Level 2 background check. I have been a foster parent to a few babies, many years ago, who were abandoned in a Detroit hospital. My late husband was an OB/GYN working as a resident at this hospital and came home telling me how many babies were in the hospital nursery. The nurses did their best but did not have the time to care for them as these babies deserved. I also had a small home-based daycare for a while and cared for newborns thru 5-year-olds. I have kept up with current opinions of childcare from newborns to older children. Things are always evolving on how to care for children, and I pride myself on keeping current on the latest advice but believe that ultimately the parents have the responsibility of deciding how to raise their children. I am completely current and certified in First Aid, CPR and AED. I have also been a swim instructor. I believe in having a routine for children, as long as the parents agree. I use baby sign language with small children along with repeating the words for children who are not yet verbal. Children can sign much earlier than they can speak and this helps with their frustration in not being able to let you know what they want or need, as long as the parents agree to this. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, with the parents leading the way. I would love to be part of your village.

Hi! My name is Janiyah! I am 22 years old and I am born and raised in Florida. For about 2 years I worked at the boys and girls club where I was responsible for groups of over 20 kids at a time from ages 6 to 14. There, I regulated games with them I helped them with their homework and made sure they got along, behaved, and enjoyed their time after school and on full days where school was out. Lots of my kids there were special needs, so I do have experience there as well. For the last couple of years I have babysit for multiple parents like my most recent are two twins who recently turned one year. I have a lot of patience when it comes to kids. I can cook, clean, drive, and even help with homework. Your kids will be in great hands under my care and I look forward to meeting you!
