Hi! My name is Ann and I love working with children. I am a Private Kindergarten/1st Grade Teacher and I also have had extensive experience working with 4 year olds. I was a preschool VPK teacher for 2 years and before that worked with all different age groups. I have experience working with ages 1yr-12yr. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have my Child Development Associate (CDA) through the Council For Professional Recognition. I have completed many other courses through the Department of Children and Families and gained an Emergent Literacy Micro Credential University of Florida. I enjoy creating quality bonds with people and helping children grow. My philosophy when it comes to children is that they may be little, but they people. And like all people in this world, if they are given a voice and a chance to share theirs, they will flourish! I pride myself in creating a safe, comfortable environment where children know they can be heard and reach out for whatever reason.

Hi my name is Kayla and I have many years of experience with kids! I find it very enjoyable to help out families when needed to take some stress off your back. I have babysat for many families in the past. I was also a gymnastic coach for kids ranging from 3-12 years. I helped coach gymnastics and had a lot of fun doing so. I was also an assistant for an after school program for kids in elementary school, this consisted of playing, conducting snack time and homework help. I also was an assistant for a preschool teacher, where I helped with nap time, snacks and read aloud. I would really like to get to know you and you family!

I am currently in the Radiologic Technology program at the State College of Florida, and I graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2021 with a B.S. I have babysat since middle school off and on for families with kids ranging from 1-12, and I was also a counselor-in-training for a few summers at a day camp when I was younger, which was a lot of fun and taught me a lot about watching kids. I am AHA BLS CPR Certified, and am currently in a CNA course which will be completed this summer. I also love art, playing the viola, games, and being outside.

Hi, my name is Marsha. I am 64 years young with plenty of energy and I think I may be a wonderful person to care for your family, while you are working. I know how nerve-racking it can be to go to work, leaving your precious child to a stranger to care for. Let me reassure you that a part of my job is to make you comfortable enough with me to allow you to focus on your jobs while at work. I have TONS of experience caring for newborns. I have raised 3 successful adult children of my own. I have 3 grandchildren whom I adore, and I love children. I am currently a Guardian ad Litem Volunteer Advocate in the 20th Circuit Court and volunteer for ANA’s Friends, which is the foundation that supports the Guardian ad Litem Program. A Guardian ad Litem is court ordered to care for foster children and look out for the best interests of a foster child. I am mandated by the court to visit these children at least once a month, but normally see them twice a month and every 90 days I write a report for the court giving my opinion of how each child is doing and what if anything, they need. This also entails having a Level 2 background check. I have been a foster parent to a few babies, many years ago, who were abandoned in a Detroit hospital. My late husband was an OB/GYN working as a resident at this hospital and came home telling me how many babies were in the hospital nursery. The nurses did their best but did not have the time to care for them as these babies deserved. I also had a small home-based daycare for a while and cared for newborns thru 5-year-olds. I have kept up with current opinions of childcare from newborns to older children. Things are always evolving on how to care for children, and I pride myself on keeping current on the latest advice but believe that ultimately the parents have the responsibility of deciding how to raise their children. I am completely current and certified in First Aid, CPR and AED. I have also been a swim instructor. I believe in having a routine for children, as long as the parents agree. I use baby sign language with small children along with repeating the words for children who are not yet verbal. Children can sign much earlier than they can speak and this helps with their frustration in not being able to let you know what they want or need, as long as the parents agree to this. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, with the parents leading the way. I would love to be part of your village.
