My professional career is a Certified Child Life Specialist. This means that my expertise lies in childhood and adolescent development, specifically in traumatic circumstances. I recently moved to the area and am planning my wedding (YAY)! I have "babysitting" since the age of 14 and was a nanny all through college. Because I was a student-athlete, child care offered me incredible opportunities to support myself while competing and getting my degree. I love the outdoors, and visit nationals parks each summer. I am enthusiastic, adventurous, and much prefer opportunities to promote a child's imagination over screen time. Given the current state that we are in, I spend much of April and May helping children transition to the online model of learning and am happy to continue to offer my services in this way as well.
