I am currently a student at the University of Tampa. I have a lot of experience in childcare. I worked at an at-home daycare for 2 years and had to take certification courses to acquire that job. There were up to 10 children a day ranging in ages of 2 months - 5 years. Some of the children were non-verbal or had learning disabilities. A few of my responsibilities were feeding, putting children down for nap, changing diapers, monitoring safety and leading circle time. I also babysat a pair of special needs twins for 5 years, two elementary boys here in Tampa for 1 year. Some of my responsibilities with those children were picking them up from school, helping with homework, making snacks and meals, playing with them, driving them to practice or tutor, and night time routine. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I am confident in assisting with potty training and daily routines. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and gain confidence.
