Within the last ten years, I have developed strong childcare skills that have enabled me to work within the community. I believe that as a babysitter my passion for children, communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail will make a tremendous contribution. I have a B.A. in Psychology. I am a former Behavior Program Specialist for Open Arms Non-Profit Organization. While at Open Arms, I responded to the needs of youth with severe behavioral and emotional problems. I operated a 12 bed facility. I assisted residents with educational opportunities, social skill trainings, conflict resolution classes and school work completion. I cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I transported the residents to and from appointments. I am a former Department of Family and Children Services Foster Care Case Manager. While at DFCS, I transported children to and from doctor's appointments, scheduled medical appointments for children, scheduled sibling and parent visits, completed Read more educational, psychological, and medical collateral contacts and assisted co-workers with preparing for Panel Reviews, Preliminarily Protective Hearings, Adjudicatory Hearings and Family Team Meetings. I have extensive knowledge on how to properly care and engage children. I am now a stay at home mom/military spouse looking to make some extra cash doing what I love most, caring for children!
