Tavia V., Child Care in Keysville, GA 30816 with 3 years of paid experience

Hello! My name is Tavia, and I’m excited to bring my passion for childcare and my unique experience to SitterCity as a nanny. With a background working at the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS), I have developed a deep understanding of child development and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. In my role at DFCS, I have had the opportunity to support families in various capacities, emphasizing stability, emotional support, and educational growth. I believe in the power of positive reinforcement and tailored activities that cater to each child's individual needs, interests, and developmental stages. As a nanny, I am committed to fostering a loving and engaging atmosphere where children can thrive. I enjoy planning fun, educational activities that promote creativity and learning, and I prioritize open communication with parents to ensure we are all aligned in our goals for the child. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I take great pride in my ability to handle any situation with care and professionalism. Whether it's helping with homework, organizing playdates, or simply being a listening ear, I am here to support your family in every way I can. I look forward to connecting and discussing how I can contribute to your family's needs and help your children grow and flourish!

Jessica T., Child Care in Keysville, GA 30816 with 28 years of paid experience

Hello! I'm Jessica, and I bring 28 years of dedicated experience as an in-home nanny and family assistant. My journey began during my college years, where I studied elementary education with a minor in American Sign Language and children with developmental disabilities sparking my passion for teaching and nurturing young minds. Throughout my career, I've had the joy of working closely with children of all ages, which allows me to tailor my approach to meet their unique learning styles and needs. I thrive on helping little ones grow in their educational development, whether it’s through play-based learning for toddlers or assisting school-aged children with their homework. I bring a wealth of experience in providing compassionate and personalized care to children with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum and children with special needs at all levels. My expertise extends to working with deaf and hard-of-hearing children, where I utilize advanced American Sign Language (ASL) skills to facilitate effective communication and engagement. I also have significant experience supporting children with developmental and physical disabilities, as well as those with genetic disorders, ensuring that their unique requirements are met with sensitivity and dedication. I believe that every child deserves individualized attention and care, and I am committed to making the well-being and development of your child my highest priority, creating a nurturing environment where they can thrive." Choosing to be a full-time nanny was a conscious decision for me. I wanted to create a long-term career that would allow me to blend my teaching skills with the individual attention children receive in a home environment—something often not feasible in the classroom. Beyond my role as a caregiver, I actively support families through various tasks, be it running errands, grocery shopping, or helping organize children’s activities and family outings. My flexible nature also extends to traveling with families, whether for vacations or holidays, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I am also open to individual needs that a family may have and will accommodate you to the best of my abilities. I am truly passionate about creating a nurturing and enriching atmosphere for children, and I look forward to the possibility of becoming a valued member of your family!

Isabell T., Child Care in Keysville, GA 30816 with 1 year of paid experience

Hi! My name is Isabell, I have experience with handling toddlers, I've love taking care of kids, I don't have any kids myself I've always preferred loving other people's kids instead of me having kids. I am also new to this site this site for sittercity and I'm still trying to understand it and work around it!! Understanding it more by the day! I had taken a break from babysitting around in high school due to trying to graduate and stuff and everything just being with school, I'm ready to get back into babysitting!! I have experience and handling kids that are sick and kids that do need help with certain stuff. I will say, I don't really focus on homework with kids I'm more also there of wanting to have them being able to be more free, having them finding what they want and what they like and what they don't like. My time varies due to certain situations in the household at home I do not have kids but there's only one car so most of the times I will not have the car, unfortunately due to that there will only be times where I can work when the car is available, I do apologize and very sorry on my end for that. I am very opening minded to trying to help parents that are struggling trying to get their kids to try new stuff if it is a challenge I will try to help with the challenge. My skills in training I've trained with toddlers and kids that are older for about a year my skills are very open-minded to trying to get the kids that usually are shy more out of the box and obviously sometimes that is a struggle. I am crafty and I am very much the type of person that likes to get the kids to go outside and play. Also babysitting will have to be at your house.
