A full time position would be ideal but it doesn’t have to be! I have extensive childcare experience as I’ve worked with children my entire teenage and young adult years. This includes watching individual children at their homes, group settings, and professional settings doing anything from homework help to bedtime! I shine between the ages of 12 months- 3 years but have worked with children ages 6 weeks-14 years old. I’m willing to help you with anything you need including housework/house management, transportation, and bedtime. I have always loved kids! I grew up at a children's theater working with kids in summer camps and classes, and love having fun with them. I did babysitting work all throughout middle school, high school, and college. I also often take care of my younger cousins. Hi! I’m Ashlyn, and I have over 5 years of experience working with kids ages 1 to 13. I’ve cared for toddlers, school-aged kids, and preteens, and I always aim to keep things fun, safe, and smooth for both kids and parents. I have my own car and can help with getting the kids ready, school drop-offs or pick-ups, after-school care, light errands, and meal prep. I currently work full-time as a housekeeper on Jekyll Island from 3 PM to 11 PM, so I’m available in the mornings and early afternoons. My regular days off are Wednesdays and Thursdays, and I’m also open to helping out for date nights or part-time needs.

Working towards getting CPR/AED training, I do not have my own car but I have consistent transportation. I currently work in childcare at a daycare, I love to work with kids. I love the fun side of it which for me includes educating them on things Such as the basics like the alphabet, all the colors, animals, shapes, common communication skills, how to stay healthy, and knowing right from wrong. I love to draw and color with them, read to/ with them, dance with them, do kid friendly cardio with them and make them overall feel loved. It’s important to introduce children to these kinds of things at the early ages I work with which are 1-4 year olds. At my current Job at the daycare I have experience in looking after the children in the ways I stated so far, along with potty training them, teaching them to eat with spoons/forks, teaching them manners and cleanliness skills (pushing the chair in after eating, wiping their face, making sure to wash hands etc) I am looking for a job as a nanny/babysitter though because I work with 15+ kids per day full time. It’s out of my comfort zone really and I feel that I can reach the children more efficiently if I work with a smaller number maybe 2, or the max being 4 at a time
