Hi! My name's Anjanette :) I am a student attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa and will be graduating this May with my BA in Public Health and Ilokano. I currently work at UH Manoa campus throughout the week, in between my classes. I have experience in facilitating fun and engaging programs and activities for children, tweens, teens, elders, etc. through the non-profit organizations that I am a part of. This past summer I interned at Kokua Kalihi Valley and promoted active aging through dance with the elders, as well as planned activities for the youth of Kalihi. I love kids with a passion! There is nothing more rewarding than working with children! They are so full of life and it's awesome to watch how much fun they can have doing something. I've babysat my neighbor's three-year-old son in high school till he was about six. I've been babysitting Read more my tenant's daughter here and there and she just turned one this year. My boyfriend has a nephew who's turning five and I absolutely adore him. He's so full of energy and loves trucks! I love reading books with him and helping him with his homework. I've taken him to the park, created interesting and learning activities, arts and crafts, etc. Overall, I am able to create a fun, learning, and engaging environment for children while keeping the children's safety and well being my number one priority.
