As an outdoor educator with the US Fish and Wildlife Service I helped bring educational programs and summer camps to schools and remote villages. My mother was a teacher and is now a principal at an elementary school, where I have also started to substitute teach at as I work toward my elementary education degree. I grew up in a big family (5 siblings and lots of cousins) what lead me to my job as a preschool teacher.
