I deal with them gently but speak with them as little adults, because I feel they are capable of learning so much that way.   My background is pretty diverse, with it centered in teaching and non-profit community work.  I love children and have always had a knack for getting along with them.  Since I was a teenager, kids have always usually liked me to hang out with them as they would their friends. I have taught in public and private schools.  Currently I am also a yoga instructor and have a background as a semi professional Hawaiian dancer in my childhood years.  I love to cook and have a diverse array of healthy foods I love to make.
