Hi my name is keichawna but people usually calls me shana especially my kids from my past jobs. I am the older sister to 7 kids and have been taking care of my siblings since i was in 6th grade while my single mom was working 2-3 jobs a day. Ever since i graduated at 16 i have been slowly building my experience with children care in all different age groups such as infants, pre-toddlers, toddlers, preschoolers, and even school age children. I've worked with many age groups and have been to trainings and did a lot of learning from my previous jobs. For instance being able to take care of sick infants when they get RSV, Also lots of safety and health sanitization. I also know the common needs and know that ever baby is different. I do have SUID training, suicide prevention training, sexual abuse training, proper feeding and medication training, etc. I've worked at springs of living water as a pre toddler TA, also worked at the YMCA as an A+ leader. I am currently at the navy CYP CDC and worked here starting off as an infant teacher worked my way through Pre-Todd into toddler and then went into preschool. I've done navy cyp trainings and have had experience taking care of 3-1 ratio for infants and then 1-5 pre toddlers. Then 1-7 for toddlers and now 1-12 preschool.
