I have been watching children in some fashion since I was 11 years old (26 years). I have been a nanny for a family in the past and it was a great experience. I have watched children from infancy into their teens and have no issues with watching multiple children at the same time. I am very organized and like to keep children occupied with activities with minimal screen time. I have two nieces and a nephew (all siblings) that I have watch since birth and still watch frequently. Their ages vary from 10 months to 7 years old. When I am watching them, I have one child home all day, one child home half days, and the eldest has school all day. This requires being able to keep the day organized and a good routine going.

Even though I am the youngest in my family, I have spent many years helping with my niece. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I work with 3-6 and 7-12 year olds mostly. I grew up helping at camp with at risk kids, I am a success coach with those kids as well. As a success coach I work with kids who aren’t having the best of times. I help them understand why they are upset and how we can work through this to have a better days. I am verified in mental health awareness for children. Running around and having a huge amount of energy is what I expect and love to have fun!

My name is Rylee and I have been babysitting all ages of children since I was about 12 years old. I am majoring in architecture at Iowa State. I love children and babies because they have the most unique perspectives on life. I like fostering a safe place for kids to develop and learn. I have babysat babies from newborn to toddler age, for full day and night periods. I am about to graduate high school this May, and I plan to move to Cedar Rapids! I also work part-time at Fareway after school and on weekends. I am the youngest of my siblings but I am very good with kids! I have been babysitting since I was twelve years old and have worked with newborns up to children who are 12+. I also have an older brother who has autism, who has also taught me a lot about patience and understanding. I also have a strong passion for Jesus and he plays a big role in my life! While attending church, I have served in the nursery with little kids as well. Outside of work and school, I love playing guitar, readings books, baking, and enjoy spending time outside.
