Hi my name is Raelyn, I’m 19 and a current elementary ed major at Heartland Community College! I graduate with my associate’s next year and then I plan on transferring to ISU for my bachelor’s. I’ve been babysitting since I was 11 and for the past year I’ve worked at the child development lab center at Heartland. I’ve always loved working with children and I love helping them learn new things! Monday thru Thursday I work at Heartland from 12-5, but I am available in the morning from 6 am to 11 am. Friday thru Sunday I am available all day for whatever time as long as I have enough notice! I’ve worked with children of all ages, but mostly from ages 2 months to 3 years.

Qualifications: Cpr certified 10 years working in early childhood gymnastics 5 years nannying 1 year working as a 2yr. Old daycare teacher I am currently working toward my Master’s for child development and infancy. I not only enjoy learning about the development of a child whether it’s milestones, self help skills, or social emotional growth I also enjoy being part of their journey! I strive to make meaningful relationships with families and kiddos. I enjoy learning through play with children and use every opportunity to be outside playing and exploring when working with children.

Hi! I'm a student-athlete at Illinois Wesleyan University, where I balance a full academic load and collegiate athletics, so I have the energy and patience to keep up with kids of all ages! With over 5 years of experience working with children, I’ve had the joy of caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids in a variety of roles. For the past three summers, I’ve specifically worked with infants and toddlers, handling everything from bottle feeding and diaper changes to introducing solids and supporting early potty training. I love watching kids grow and hit milestones, and I’m comfortable with all the day-to-day routines that come with early childhood care. In addition to my hands-on experience, I’ve also taken coursework in child development, giving me a strong foundation in how kids learn, grow, and express themselves at different stages. I bring that knowledge into every interaction, whether I’m guiding a toddler through a new skill or helping an older child navigate their new life experiences. Outside of childcare, I’m also passionate about cooking (I love making meals that are both fun and nutritious!) and staying active. As a photographer and media manager, I’m creative, detail-oriented, and great at capturing moments, and I bring that same energy and focus into caregiving. I love outdoor adventures, imaginative play, and creating a safe, positive environment where kids feel free to be themselves. I understand the trust it takes to leave your child in someone’s care, and I work hard to build meaningful, reliable relationships with both kids and parents. Whether it’s a structured routine or a spontaneous afternoon of crafts and games, I’m all in, ready to show up with patience, positivity, and a big smile.
