I am a junior in college with an open schedule and I absolutely love working with kids, as I have done so for about 8 years now! There is a 17-year age gap between me and my youngest sibling, and I had plenty of opportunities to help care for my younger siblings while growing up. :) BABYSITTING EXPERIENCE: My most recent babysitting job was caring for a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old. I bottle-fed the baby, changed his diapers, and put him down for naps. He liked to be held to sleep, and sometimes I held him for his entire nap. I also maintained communication with his mother about his eating and sleeping. With the 2-year-old, I provided snacks, changed her diapers, and helped entertain her. This was a weekly job, with days and times based on the parents' needs. CHURCH NURSERY EXPERIENCE: I also served in my church nursery with children from infancy to 3 years old. My experience included: Bottle feeding | Diaper changing | Rocking children to sleep | Soothing teething and fussy children | Playing and doing activities with little ones | Helping potty-trained children and children in training use the bathroom.
