My experience began in high school where I taught 4yr old preschool children who attended our high school program. As a result of that, I began to Nanny for a family of one of my students. I have worked a before & after school program for a variety of grammar schools through the park district. I am currently working as a preschool teacher at a day care with children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I have been CPR certified.

I was an attachment parent (baby wearing, bonded, close contact) with all four of my own children. In my experience, I have worked in three day care facilities, mainly infant and toddler rooms, from 1998 until 2003 and again short term in 2017. I also did some short-term nannying for three families during my college years. After college, I taught a 4-year-old preschool class at Kindercare Learning Center, from 2003 to 2005. When my son was born, in May of 2005, I started to nanny full time. Since then, I have worked as a nanny, as a home daycare provider and babysitting, for 19 different families to present day.

I have two teenage children of my own. I have been a babysitter from the young age of about 13. I have babysat all ages from infants through early teens. I also have a substitute teachng license and am available to help with homework and studying.
