I have my certificate in ECE. I worked 17 years as a Professional Childcare Site Director for the YMCA. I have 4 grandchildren 8,4,2 and a 3 month old. I have Professional experience as a Nanny. My daily duties included general care for the children, I would run errands for the family- occasional grocery shopping, taking to gymnastics, sports, doctor appointments, park, library, etc. I helped with homework, light housework as far as KIDS CLOTHING, meal prep. I also clean up our area we mess up. I have several years of training that has covered every aspect of childcare. I enjoy art at science experiments, another in door activity can involve music play, flash cards, puzzles. I was CPR/FIRST Aid certified for 17 years, my certification has expired. I have an endless amount of experience and a huge heart for children. I enjoy what I do and find it to be an extremely rewarding experience. I have experience with all of baby needs such as feeding, bottle making (formula & breast milk), burping, diaper changing (cloth diaper friendly), supervised tummy time, achieving milestones, reading, playtime, (stacking, shapes, colors, sensory activities, lullabies, etc.), naptime, introducing solid foods and purees. I love working with kids, I’ve worked in a daycare for 4 years and I’ve helped babysit since I was young. I’ve worked with children with autism and other special needs as well. I’m currently in college for my doctorate in Occupational Therapy, my plans are to work in the pediatrics department to work with kids on understanding, learning, critical thinking, and movement skills!

I like to explore new places, especially parks and other places outside. I have a membership for the YMCA. I have been to just about every fun place for children around the area to include places in St. Louis like the City Museum. I drive a Dodge Durango. I have dogs and cats. I love working with kids and animals , I have a 2 year old niece of my own that I love to spend time with. I used to work with kids in a jungle gym / gymnasium setting. Usually around 15-40 children a night helping them learn skills in motivational ways. Also while making sure every individual is safe and well taken care of . I am also good with pets, I have 4 cats and 3 puppies of my own . I have never turned down a chance to rescue an animal and give them a loving home.
