During my 18-months at a daycare center, my primary responsibility was working with infants. However, I gained experience with children of varying ages, ranging from infants to five years old. I have obtained my child, infant, and adult CPR and first aid certifications. These certifications are valid until May 2027, and I am prepared to complete a recertification course upon its expiration. I possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an impeccable driving record. Additionally, I am equipped with a convertible car seat. I have spent the last 5 summers working with kids ranging from age 6 to 17 at summer camp. My first year I worked in the craft department then lead it for the following 3 years. I loved being able to plan fun and useful activities such as making and painting ceramics, simple baking skills, and artistic strategies! This last summer I switched over to being the main registrar and financial person, which was a whole new experience. I definitely missed being with the kids but still greatly enjoyed my job. I started my college career in the elementary education field with the goal to teach in a school one day. While I have switched to psychology 1.5 years into my degree, I still plan to work in school systems and with youth as a school psychologist.
