I have spent the last 5 summers working with kids ranging from age 6 to 17 at summer camp. My first year I worked in the craft department then lead it for the following 3 years. I loved being able to plan fun and useful activities such as making and painting ceramics, simple baking skills, and artistic strategies! This last summer I switched over to being the main registrar and financial person, which was a whole new experience. I definitely missed being with the kids but still greatly enjoyed my job. I started my college career in the elementary education field with the goal to teach in a school one day. While I have switched to psychology 1.5 years into my degree, I still plan to work in school systems and with youth as a school psychologist. My time in the education program helped me understand language development, teaching strategies, Read more ethics when working with youth, and management of young people. From my experience, I am skilled in communication, custodial services, engaging childcare, organization, and planning. I look forward to using these skills while helping you with whatever you need!
